Try stringing these around the tree. They are really good! I hope you can same some for your kid’s when you are making them.

In a heavy bottomed pot with a tight fitting lid, heat 1 T Olive oil and 1 T coconut oil. Add 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels. Put lid on top and place over med-high heat until all your kernels have popped. Salt immediately and set aside. Pull out any dud kernels before adding nougat.

In a heavy bottomed fry pan or small sauce pot over med heat, add 2 tsp organic butter, 1/3 cup of organic blackstrap molasses and 1/3 cup agave nectar. When mixture comes to a slow boil, adjust heat to med-low, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes. Test for readiness, by dropping a small spoonful into a bowl of cold water. When a soft ball forms it is ready. Take off heat immediately and pour over popcorn. You may also add lightly toasted and salted nuts at this point. Stir until well combined with a wooden spoon. Butter your hands and start making little balls and place on buttered cookie sheet to dry. You may also just dump out whole batch onto cookie sheet and let dry, separating clumps occasionally. Enjoy!
